The park itself opens at 10 am. However, you can purchase gate tickets and enter The Beginning area (which contains shops, toilets, a restaurant, buggy hire and the customer services area) from 9.30 am. You are prevented from entering the main part of the park (where the rides are) until the actual opening time.

We recommend being in the park before the opening time if you can, ready to move down to the main area of Legoland when you are allowed to. This is one our many UGLW Top Tips which will help you get more out of your visit to Legoland Windsor.

Closing times vary between 5 pm and 7 pm depending on the day - e.g. 7 pm in August. The closing times quoted are when you cannot join any ride queues. The rides begin to close and the park begins to shut down. You are not thrown out of the park immediately and you are able to view attractions like Miniland as you leave.

Watch out for off peak closing dates - in March, April, May, September and October the park is closed on some days, often mid-week.

On some dates in October and November the park closes late for Halloween and fireworks celebrations.
