UGLW: Unofficial Guide to Legoland Windsor
Everything you need to know - and more - about your visit to Lego Land, one of the UK's top tourist attractions
UNOFFICIAL GUIDE TO LEGOLAND WINDSOR
A very different experience to the normal ride-ons. You are strapped in tightly to the seats which face outwards in pairs from a central pole. You have a rope on which you pull and this lifts the seats up.
Some video of Space Tower, panning over to view the huge dinosaur model on the left which is making the noise you can hear:

The ride assists you when you pull up on the rope, lifting you until you have a commanding view across much of the park. When you reach the top you'll be glad the ride assistant made sure you were strapped in so tightly - this is not a ride for people who aren't keen on heights.
When you let go of the rope you are dropped slowly back down to earth. At the end of the ride the seats drop, no matter how hard you are gripping on to the rope - so be sure to let go...

♥ We love a bit of praise!
Your guide has been so helpful especially the directions to get there from the m4 - it saved us loads of time. We used your site to plan for the day which meant we got so much more out of it. Thanks so much.
